Vicky,
Here' a novel approach!
How about carefully amending the schedules, (If need be) to list all the
furniture in Schedule "B", at FMV, then listing the Levitz's security
interest in each item on Schedule "C", then amending Statement of Intention
as "retaining" the furniture and paying pursuant to the contract?

I have cut better deals with Bass & Assoc than the one first offered.
Remember to reaff the furniture, the amount in reaff should reflect the present
market value of used furniture. $2500 of new furniture last year is probably
worth $1000 today.

Does anyone have experice with Bass and Assoc. (a law firm) repossessing
Levitz furniture after the 341a, if the debtor does not reaffirm or surrender the
furniture?
Debtor has a 'no pay until 2006' deal for about $2500 worth of furniture bought
months prior to considering bk. Bass wants them to reaffirm or surrender. They're
not in a position to make a lump sum offer and want to keep the stuff. The re-aff
deal is pretty cheesy.
