Cost of sale percentage?

Judge Zurzolo recently opined from the bench that with companies like
Purple Bricks (and others) taking a
smaller/fixed fee and potentially changing the landscape, we need to
beware that the sale cost may be shrinking and altering our calculations
and outcomes.

Its been a while since I had to do a chapter 7 real property cost of sale
analysis. Is 8% cost of sale still the best number?

Industry standard is 8 for developed property and 10 for raw land. Most brokers will shave a point in order to make a deal work though.
