RE: TRANSFER/REASSIGNMENT OF JUDGE TIGHE CASES
Effective June 1, 2005, pending Los Angeles Division bankruptcy
cases and adversary proceedings assigned to Judge Maureen A. Tighe
are transferred or reassigned as follows:
Chapter 7
All Los Angeles Division pending chapter 7 bankruptcy cases and
pending related adversary proceedings are reassigned to Judge
Theodor C. Albert, except for those listed on Exhibit A (attached)
which are transferred to the San Fernando Valley Division and remain
assigned to Judge Maureen A. Tighe.
Chapter 11
All Los Angeles Division pending chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and
pending related adversary proceedings are transferred to the San
Fernando Valley Division and remain assigned to Judge Maureen A.
Tighe.
Chapter 13
All Los Angeles Division pending chapter 13 bankruptcy cases and
pending related adversary proceedings are reassigned to Judge
Theodor C. Albert.
Adversary Proceedings
In addition to the pending adversary proceedings that are
transferred or reassigned as indicated above, pending adversary
proceedings without a pending bankruptcy case set forth in Exhibit A
(attached) are transferred to the San Fernando Valley Division and
remain assigned to Judge Maureen A. Tighe.
For bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings reassigned to Judge
Theodor C. Albert, initials following those bankruptcy case or
adversary proceeding numbers shall be changed from "MT" to
"TA."
For all bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings transferred to
the San Fernando Valley Division, new bankruptcy case and adversary
proceeding numbers will be assigned that are preceded by the
location code "SV" and followed by the initials "MT." All pleadings
filed in these cases on or after June 1, 2005 shall be filed in the
San Fernando Valley Division with these new numbers, location code,
and Judge Tighe's initials.
