Dear Colleagues!
On MONDAY, April 11th, the Judges' Outreach Committee chaired by Judge Klein, one of our Ch13 Judges here in LA, will be holding a free reception to honor the completion of a 2nd year of the Loyola Bk Practicum where students from Loyola, in conjunction with Public Counsel and the Law Form of Borowitz & Clark, complete a hands-on training in Consumer Bk Law -- including time at the Self Help Clinics and arguing a matter before Judge Klein.
Judge Klein has invited ALL CONSUMER BK ATTYS to the reception which is to be held from 2-3 pm in Camp Roybal. This would be an excellent opportunity to come by and mingle with the Judges and your colleagues. The food is also VERY very good. The event is free. Also, if you have Judge Zurzolo Ch13 Cf hrgs in the morning, please consider sticking around for this event. Since cdcbaa is such a strong supporter of Public Counsel and have an excellent repour with the Court, we are asking as many members of cdcbaa too attend as possible. RSVPs have been extended for cdcbaa members to 5pm today.
