I'm not aware of any such requirement. I'd look at both the local
Chapter 13 forms and the local rules to see if a form or rule imposes
such a requirement. New debt definitely requires approval, but if
everyone who moved needed to bother the court about it then it would be
rather cumbersome.

If a Chapter 13 debtor leases out her house during her case, Court approval would be required, correct?
If this same Chapter 13 debtor then moves into a new apartment during her case and needs to enter into a lease, is Court approval also required? Do debtors usually file Motions to enter into a new lease when they move during a case?
I'm aware that the Chapter 13 Trustee will be interested in learning whether these changes affect the Debtor's disposable income, and would file amended Schedules I and J to explain.
