Uninsured commercial property in Michigan in a Chapter 7 case
I have a Chapter 7 case where the Debtor owns a vacant commercial property in Michigan, and the Trustee just asked for proof of insurance, and it looks like there is none. This is my first incidence of this and I'm just wondering the ramifications.
Can the Trustee now force the Debtor to carry insurance while she sells the property? If so, on what theory or Debtor duty?
