As we know, there are certain judges assigned to handle Ch. 13 cases in this district.

What happens if a debtor files a Ch. 7 case and gets a non-Ch. 13 wheel judge, and then converts to Ch. 13??? Does it stay with the same judge?

Same issue if the debtor had a prior case filed with a non-Ch. 13 judge and then files a new Ch. 13.

The case will get reassigned to one of the Chapter 13 judges. Same thing in reverse, when a case is converted from Chapter 13 to Chapter 7 it will be reassigned to a Chapter 7 judge.
