I was successful in San Fernando getting a lesbian married couple to a
confirmed plan. But i don't want to advertise it too much because I'm
affraid that the anti-gay people will come out of the woodwork and try to
get the case dismissed. And yes, my couple was ready to go to the supreme
court on this issue with backing of non-profit gay rights organization.
Call me and we can discuss it.

Subject: [cdcbaa] RE: gay married couple
I have two clients who were married before prop. 8 in California.
California therefore recognizes the marriage. Has any one been successful,
or does anyone know of a successful case wherein a gay married couple is
granted status within bankruptcy as a married couple?

Patricia:
General consensus is feds don't recognize the marriage, bk, being a federal remedy, does not recognize gay marriage.
