Fwd: What not to do as a foreclosure lawyer
I agree. Just the concept of loan modification alone is a great example.
It's first-year Contracts. It takes two to enter into a contract, and two
parties to modify a contract. Five years ago, the idea that people could
compel a change on a mortgage contract they signed was unthinkable. Today,
people believe it's a right, and it can be done unilaterally. It causes them
harm based on unrealistic expectations.
