Judge's Copy and SSN
The SSN is not to be sent to the Judge or anyone else. When it is filed in
ECF it is redacted and no one can see it. You need to keep the original for
five years.

Subject: [cdcbaa] Judge's Copy and SSN
Hello everyone,
Sorry if this turns out to be a repeat email. After last meeting's
discussion regarding the new local rules and Judge's Copies, I think
the consensus was that we send EVERYTHING to the Judge - to be on the
safe side. But, I was wondering what everyone is doing with their SSN
Statements. Are you putting these in U.S. Mail and sending them off to
the Judge as well? It seems slightly less secure than just keeping the
document in-house and filing it through CM/ECF.
Thanks,
Donny
