Potential Conflict of representing one former married client and not

I represented a happy couple back in 2011.
Now, not so happy and the contentious divorce is almost over.
Wife wants me to represent her, and I haven't heard from soon-to-be ex-husband.
Probably no way he consents to me representing her alone, just because he's contentious.
Any way to rep this nice lady, or do I need to refer out? My understanding is I cannot, but I haven't hit the books or new rules.
