Bar date is not relevant here. However, look at Rule 4003 for the timeframe
to object to an exemption, which may have passed in this case and give you a
basis to resist.

An asset was scheduled and claimed exempt. 341(a) held and concluded. Bar date past. Now the trustee demands by letter the debtor turn over the asset. What is the basis for demanding a turn over of scheduled exempt property after the bar date?

Did the Trustee declare it an asset case and set a bar date? If so, the
bar date refers to creditors filing Proof of Claim forms, not the
Trustee requesting turnover.

An asset was scheduled and claimed exempt. 341(a) held and concluded. Bar date past. Now the trustee demands by letter the debtor turn over the asset. What is the basis for demanding a turn over of scheduled exempt property after the bar date?
