converting from 7 to 13 with MFRS pending
You can also call opposing counsel and let them know what you're doing and
see if they will stipulate to it.
I had a 7 to 13 convert where debtor changed their position on the mortgage
with an MFRS pending and opposing counsel simply wanted adequate protection
if debtor failed to pay.

The Motion is not moot and you need to defend, but you have the

You need to oppose the MFR (e.g., client has equity and/or property is
necessary for a reorganization in prospect) and ideally have your conversion
motion heard before or at least on the same day as the MFR.
