RE:Superlawyers
Ok, sorry, people are misunderstanding. Irecently got my copy of superlawyers 2010, it lists very few consumer bankruptcy attorneys, and even has some listed who should not be listed as consumer bankruptcy lawyers.
We, as a group, should make sure the magazine lists those of us whom we know are the best. We are the only people qualified to make this determination, we are in the court on a regular basis and see each others work. Plus, we should be supporting each other by making nominations.
Each year when I make my superlawyers nominations, I answer their questionnaire and complain that the magazine has to change the nomination process so it is noncollusive and can better reflect true merit. But they change nothing. So I write to you, the lawyers who can actually make a difference, to getinvolved. Go to the Superlawyer web page and nominate members of our bar association. If you need help, use the list on the bklawyers.org web site. It lists all of us, and the cities in which we practice.
We should be making sure there are listings in the magazine upon which the public can rely.

Not soliciting, but I am *41*, so I can no longer be a "Rising Star" under the rules but I can be a "Super Lawyer".
I will be nominating people.
