CLE on Taxes and Bankruptcy
Hello All:I wanted to alert you to a program through the Tax Section of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. Tomorrow, Tuesday 2/16, I'll be talking about lowering your client's tax bill using the bankruptcy court as a forum. I'll be going over the standard dischargeability tests and talking about things like substitutes for returns and "willfully evading a tax" as barriers to discharge.
