Yes, but no requirement for a new NOD. An NOD is good until rescinded.

HI MARK,
Look at civil code 2924(g)(c)(2).
It appears (2) if"more that 365 days has expired the scheduling of any further sale proceedings shall bepreceded by giving a new notice of sale"
Hope this is the correct view now.

I used to believe that if the NOD was over a year old, that a new one would
have to be recorded. I was never able to find that code section so I assume
it is not true.
If a NTS is postponed by more than 365 days, then a new NTS must be
recorded; you can find that in 2924g. I believe this requirement was the
reason for the mix up regarding NODs.
