It is generally wise to error on the side of caution and list every
potential creditor.for debtor and deceased spouse just in case their is an obligation owed.

Hi List Mates:
I am drafting a chapter 7 bankruptcy petition for the surviving spouse,
with debts that existed longer than their 1 year marriage and his spousesrecent death. The deceased spouse had personal debts, and tax-related debts
from an LLC (surviving husband was not listed as an officer -- not a
responsible party). As he is the only debtor filed, just checking to determine
whether to list the spouses debts under community property (they lived inCalifornia), or as Debtor and Another Party?
Debtor also had debts from a former corporation in wh ich he was an
officer. Should those debts be listed as Debtor and Another Party?
Thank you,
