Forgive me if I am confused, but I always print the petition without the signature lines. When you select print, it gives you the option to take out the automatic signatures.

I dont see why you cant have the clients sign on the line right next to the /s/. I know we cant use the /s/ to file a case, but there should be nothing wrong with the document having the /s/ as long as the clients actual signature also appears.

If you have a good pdf program (I have Acrobat Pro), you can perform a search for "/s/" and redact it away.- John D. Faucher818/889-8080

I called BestCase about this issue:
There is no way to automatically generate a petition and ready it for
filing without the /s/ being put on all the forms. Your choice is to
generate a petition, print it and white out the /s/ with the name and sign
over the white out and scan the petition that way.
Alternative, I was told I could press the "Print All" button on the lower
right hand side of the box with the forms in it and it would print out a
petition form. I elected to do the first one so I could get all the forms
generated correctly.
