Chapter 13 with no money up front?

If you dont believe they can confirm a plan then you shouldnan get a plan confirmed and believe they have a shot at performing then taking the whole fee in the plan is fine. Despite beautiful judge jurypaid up front and despite that crappy article of a southern Bk district bashing lawyers who take all the fees in the plan, if you believe in your client then you ought to take the risk with them if getting by paid.

My friends are in serious trouble. They are really behind in their mortgage
and after 5 months of attempting to get a loan mod directly from their
lender, their requested loan modification was just rejected. Of course, the
mortgage was not paid during this time to modify the loan, because the
banks position was they would wrap it all in the modification. They have
an upcoming sale date in mid-January. I want to put them into a Chapter 13
and attempt to get them into either (1) a 100% plan to catch out their
