Income for purposes of Ch. 7 Means Test

Unless there is a Social Security component to the payment the State Disability is income for Means Test purposes. SSI is not.

Dear Listmates:
Client, a cancer survivor, needs to file Ch. 7 but is receiving State EDD Disability. My research indicates that this is considered income while SSI and SSI disability payments are not. Any input on this as well as if SSI payments as a surviving spouse is also considered income.
