Dear Colleagues!
Please note that at our upcoming cdcbaa seminar on Saturday, April 29th, we shall be starting at 10:30 sharp to present a 1/2 hour overview of the newly proposed LOCAL Ch13 Plan. The Court's notice of the beginning of of the 30 day comment period came out yesterday. The comment period ends on May 18th, The Judges intend to consider and incorporate the suggestions and comments and then vote on the Ch13 plan in June. This new LOCAL Ch13 Plan will then take effect December 1st, 2017.
I would recommend that you review the new Local Ch13 Plan (14 pages), the changes in the National Rules as it applies to Ch13 practice (35 pages) and then the proposed changes to our Local Rules as it pertains to Ch13 (20 pages).
