Please note that Judicial Council Form EJ-156 (703 and 704 exemptions) for
the April 1, 2013 increases still states that the 703.140(b)(2) auto
exemption is for one vehicle only. This is incorrect, as of Jan. 1, 2013
it is one or more vehicles. The exemption amounts seem to be correct.
I spoke with someone at the Judicial Council today. They will be making a
correction to (b)(2) and cleaning up some other typos.

FYI, for those of you practicing Chapter 13's in the Valley and Northern. Liz Rojas' office is completely unaware of California Assembly Bill 929's taking effect on January 1, 2013, increasing the CCP 703 exemptions for motor vehicles, tools of trade homestead/wildcard, etc. I learned at the 341(a) meetings today her office has been objecting to every exemption asserted above the old exemption amounts in cases filed after January 1, 2013. I challenged Liz's counsel Susan Luong on the matter this morning. She was in disbelief that the exemptions could have gone up January 1 and then again April 1, but said she would research it. In the meantime be aware that Liz's exemption objections filed in the last couple months are all wrong.
