I hold a BBA in Accountancy and know that I could have practiced as an
accountant. Whether I became a Certified Public Accountant would have been
up to me (I would have had to pass the CPA test and satisfied the
experience requirements, e.g., auditing hours). So, yes, it would have
been an accountant.

She will mostly be cleaning up the books and records, but is also filing
the corporate tax returns today (S Corp.) The S Corp tax return
incorporates the principals' returns as well.
