Peter,
Thank you!
Do you use that as is, or do you change the caption to the bankruptcy Court?

Technically, all you have to do is provide your (former) client with a
notarized original Acknowledgment of Satisfaction of Judgment. It is up to
the client to record. Obviously, as a courtesy, you can record the
Acknowledgment of Satisfaction of Judgment yourself. You should just use
the judicial council form and attach a cover page for the recorder that just
reflects your name/address in the upper left hand corner and the name of the
attached document (Acknowledgement of Satisfaction of Judgment) in large
font in the center of the page. You should also file a satisfaction of
judgment with the court. It is judicial council form EJ-100. Here is a link
for the form:

Ch11 Client stopped paying me. I obtained and recorded an abstract of
judgment. Recorded in Los Angeles County. Client finally paid me.
Now, I can't find a rule or a form for recording a satisfaction of judgment.
Where do I look?
