I have a small practice and recently signed up for Clio. So far I am very
happy with the practice management and time management features. It is an
online practice management application that only requires a month-to-month
commitment, with the first 30 days free, and 25% off the first six months
is offered by entering "ABA" in the promo box.

We have used Amicus for almost twenty years. Extremely powerful. Typically
it has been compared to Timematters. I know nothing about Abacus.

Abacus is great. The version I have lets me do my general bookkeeping also, I have Gold Edition. They have changed their format and do a monthly fee, you can call with as many questions as you have and they will walk you through how to enter information, if you don't understand how to explain it they will do a remote and show you how. I am really happy with their technical support and the product..

Subject: [cdcbaa] Law Office Software (off topic)
My office was looking at upgrading our practice management software from the basic one we currently have and was looking for some input. We are looking at either Abacus Law or Amicus Attorney. I assume that someone on this board must have experience with either one of these software systems since they are pretty much the industry standard. Amicus Attorney is less expensive but I am little worried that it might not be as good as Abacus Law. Any advice on which one is better or what would be the better value?
Thanks,
Tuan Le
