Are you asking if they are a cost to be deducted before the trustee gets a cut?
If the commission is paid to a broker up the food chain from your client, then yes, as the costs are usually contractually deducted before the remainder is paid.
If your client is a self employed broker, maybe not, as the costs will likely be discharged, and trustee may argue for a full share. However, most trustee's understand that the costs have to be paid and don't press the issue.
