Subject: [cdcbaa] Redacted SSN on tax returns to Trustees
With all the privacy laws surrounding social security numbers and
bankruptcy, I've always redacted all but the last 4 digits of a debtor's SSN on tax
returns when submitting to the Trustee. I've never had an issue with thisbefore until now.
I have one Trustee, whose last name starts with Menchaca, insist that I
provide a copy with the full SSN.
Wouldn't I be violating something by capitulating to the Trustee's request?
