I have a couple with a ton of unsecured debt and they are getting a divorce.
She would like to file for BK and get a true fresh start. I represent
Husband and would like to maximize the benefit of the BK to extinguish as
much of the debt as possible. The marriage is 18 years in duration so it
is easy to say all the debt was accumulated during the marriage. Lawsuits
are commencing. He makes entirely too much to file a Chapter 7 on his own.
Suggestions on the best way to handle this?
