Dear Christine
In February, I joined more than 65 NACBA members from across the country
as we met with our congressional delegations as part of NACBAs annual
Capitol Hill Meeting. While in DC, we helped further our efforts to
restore bankruptcy protection for private student loans by asking lawmakers
to cosponsor legislation pending in the U.S. House (H.R. 532) and U.S.
Senate (S. 114). I'm happy to report that as a result of our meetings,
several members of the House and Senate have signed on to the legislation
as cosponsors.
