Honda reaff
I had the same issue with Honda two years ago. I faxed the agreement, they
claim to have sent it to the court for filing but claim that the court
never got it. They client paid off the car and got the pink slip. Two
weeks ago, he checked his credit report and found out that the loan was
being reported as discharged in bankruptcy. I spoke to Honda and got the
same story that they mailed it.

Client signed a reaffirmation agreement with Honda, we sent it back to
Honda. Honda claims they mailed the reaffirmation agreement to the court
but it was never entered. Client receives a discharge before the court has
the reaffirmation. I called Honda, they acknowledged receipt of the
reaffirmation agreement and told me they mailed it weeks before the
discharge. Honda assures me that their policy is retain and pay; and that
they don't care if they have a reaffirmation so long as they are being paid.
I am not a trusting soul when it comes to banks and verbal assurances, has
anyone seen Honda pick up a car because there was no reaffirmation on file?
