A New Theory from Wells Fargo

I have had the same thing with Wells Fargo Mortgage division whose legal
department kept stating that because they got relief from stay, the debt was
not discharged as to them. I keep writing letters to the successors in
interest. It stops for a few months and another creditor contacts my
client.

I can beat that. Had Debtors whose property was in foreclosure. Debt listed in bankruptcy, obviously. Mortgage division filed their relief from stay and house eventually foreclosed. Case discharged. Wells Fargo continued to call, and often, post discharge. I called them up, and said there's a discharge, what are you doing? Their response? Doesn't matter, we can do that, because we got relief from stay. Now I had no idea a Motion for Relief from Stay was that powerful and negated discharges in their entirety, but then what do I know? If
Wells Fargo at Law says so, it must be true.
I quickly got someone else who knew what the F they were talking about on the phone and told them the contempt complaint I was drawing up was delicious beyond words. Calls stopped.

How about a three way call to build evidence of their violation of the
automatic stay.
