Could one say this is an unfair debt collection practice and violation of
the discharge injunction because it makes a false and misleading statement:
"We will not foreclose on you if you pay us money."
Isn't that misleading because they are unsecured and have no intention of
foreclosing anyway. It implies that the only reason they will not
foreclose is because of payments by debtor which have been discharged. Do
payments revive the contract for the unsuspecting debtor who starts out
making payments and then they initiate a new contract and they get stuck
for the full balance.
This seems so deceptive and sneaky!
