I had a client some years ago who lived in his car. I used his work address
as the mailing address on the petition, the address in front of where he
normally parked at night as the residence address. I included an affidavit
from the debtor to that effect, and filed it with the petition.

Tell the debtor to get a box at a commercial mail box store, like mail boxes etc.
The debtor needs a place for service of process in a bk.
If the debtor has no residence, I would ask the debtor where the debtor sleeps, most often, and use that address, plus the mailing address.

I would pick the address of the couch where she is surfing on the petition

Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have an opinion as to what address should be listed as the
debtors address when she has no permanent residence? For example, if the
person lives with various friends (couch surfing) but has a permanent P.O.
Box.
