or is this part 4? 5?
Anyways -- anyone ever draft the reaffirmation agreement for a
mortgage on a house? Clients are in a Chapter 7.
Aurora insists they need a reaff in order to consider my clients for a
loan mod and Aurora told my client that the bankruptcy attorneys or
the judges "issue" these. Aurora is driving me up a tree.
My client now wants to hire someone else to draft and file the
reaffirmation agreement for her (I encouraged this actually). Any Los
Angeles area attorneys interested?
My clients need reaffirmations on both their Aurora and Chase
mortgages in order to be considered for a loan modification. I said I
cannot sign them as they are over budget and it seems like a trick to
reaffirm a mortgage you are trying to modify. ALSO -- neither Aurora
nor Chase will send me one nor will they talk to me. I told my client
she could hire someone to draft one and then file it and have a
hearing in front of a judge but I had little hope that it would be
approved.
If you are interested or have advice -- email! My clients can pay.

"Like the witness protection program!"
"Exactly."
