Hello everyone, the book is well underway, but I am now running the task force to rewrite the valley disclosure statement and plan into a form the entire Central District will approve (with luck), we are also writing short first day motions, and generating an outline for filling out the UST forms.erdoooo lawyer, two UST lawyersand one bankruptcy professor (not Jon, though we would have loved to have him) are all working hard.
Hopefully, all of these forms will be in the book, so It may be another month before the bookis out.

Hello everyone, the book is well underway, but I am now running the task force to rewrite the valley disclosure statement and plan into a form the entire Central District will approve (with luck), we are also writing short first day motions, and generating an outline for filling out the UST forms. Peter Lively, three judges, two of the judge's law clerks, one San Berdoooo lawyer, two UST lawyers and one bankruptcy professor (not Jon, though we would have loved to have him) are all working hard.

Hopefully, all of these forms will be in the book, so It may be another month before the book is out.

ps. Thanks to Daniela for embarassing me by publishing the book bio. That is my bio, but I don't generally waive it around in this group.

Hello Catherine -
Im not sure Im so experienced (done one chapter 11 myself, worked on
several others), but heres what I found helpful:
1. ABI book on bankruptcy in practice, sections on chapter 11.
2. ABI handbook on first-day motions in chapter 11.
3. ABI handbook on 363 motions.
4. Rutter Group on bankruptcy (Ahart, Tchaikovsky, et al.).
5. More experienced attorneys on speed-dial. Most of my resources in this
area arent people who participate in this list.
