Judge Barr sworn me into the federal bar at my law school graduation.

> It is with great sadness that the OCBF writes to inform our community that the Hon. James Barr (ret.), who served in Santa Ana for 19 years, passed away earlier this month. His beloved wife and companion of 41 years, Phyllis, was with him. Judge Barr was loved by many and respected by all. He had many friends and was kind to everyone he encountered, had a great sense of humor and an adventurous spirit and was a good listener, which made him a good friend and a respected judge. A celebration of his life is being planned by his family and will include members of the bankruptcy community. We will keep you advised.
