The Code isclear at 362(l)(1)(B) that the debtor must deposit with the clerk of
the court. Howeve, LBR 7067-1 requires a court order beforethat depositing. I
suggest anexparte motion and lodge order concurrently attaching copy ofcheck.

Subject: [cdcbaa] Where do I deposit the post UD judgement rent check uponfiling bk?
I filed a chapter 13 bk for a client who arguably has a judgement for possession
against him for eviction from residential premise. I filed the petition
electronically as directed by ECF support, who also told me to physically take
the certified check for the current rent to the filing window. The filing
window would not accept it, and directed us to the trustee. I've tried to
contact the trustee a number of times, without response. Is it correct that the
rent check needs to be deposited with the trustee, and if so, can we walk it in
or do we mail it?
Warm regards,
Jacob D. Chang, Esq.
