I always file a bar date motion as soon as possible after filing the case
(along with the first day motions, if possible), regardless of the Judge's
practices. Especially with consumer 11s, since most debts are unliquidated
(as revolving accounts accrue interest and fees every day or second),
getting the clock started on the period for creditors to file their claims
makes the case a lot easier administratively - for example, you can list
over 100 creditors and only get 30 POCs to deal with in the plan.
