Consumer Law Question
Your client needs to sue the loan officer and his employer. I have run out
of fingers and toes to count the causes of action on.

It would seem the only way to do this short of something crazy like litigation would be for lender to agree, particularly since she did it consensually. They may have a procedure for that, so call lender as first step. Also, I'd like to buy a Ferrari, so please try as hard as you can to get her off the Benz so she can sign for me and not be seen as having excessive debt. Obviously kidding, just trying to emphasize how unbelievable it is that a loan officer would do such a thing, although maybe not so surprising - so I would call the broker and put some heat on him/her so that he/she helps with getting your client off the hook. Is loan officer licensed by Dept of Real Estate? I ask because this has to be some kind of breach of ethical duty to the client, and maybe they should be referred to DRE.

Subject: [cdcbaa] Consumer Law Question
Hi everyone,
My client refinanced her home about 1 year ago. Loan Officer told her
to increase her score she needed to co-sign for loan officer's MBZ.
Loan Officer is current on payments on MBZ but I told client to get her
name off the account ASAP. Anybody know if client can take her name
off loan officer's MBZ loan?
Thanks!!!
