Training?
Victoria Ring is ubiquitous on the net for training on how to prepare
bankruptcy petitions. She provides tips and suggestions that are usually
correct but may not account for some nuances, especially because of
variations among districts If you have the money to spend, she'll fly out
and set up your firm's BK practice from the bottom up. I've purchased some
of her written training materials as well as her $400-500 DVDs on drafting
bankruptcy petitions and use it to train my new paralegals and attorneys,
but it's extremely long (which is warranted) and only committed people sit
through the whole 10 hours or so. Such committed people are the ones who
make the best petition preparers and paralegals, though.
She has many websites, two of them are 713training.com and
http://www.mybankruptcyschool.com/.

NACBA had a paralegal track in San Francisco, I don't know if they will do
it again or not.
I know the woman who helped organize it, but she's on vacation -- I can ask
her next week if she knows if they will do it again or, maybe...
Maybe CDCBAA could have her come out and maybe with a few people here do a
