Silvio:
There is a case, begins with an "X", about reversing a transfer
before filing a case to beat a 727 action for transfers within one
year. There are a bunch of cases re transfers costing a discharge,
and a bunch of cases saying a debtor loses the ability to exempt
property which has been transfered. 522g seems to make it
impossible to make any exemption claim because the transfer was
voluntary.
Your logic is good, I agree with the premise (you should be able to
transfer property which would have been exempt, kind of no harm, no
foul), but the statute is against this thinking.
