such issues addressed.
Gail Higgins and I are the co-chairs of the CDCBAA's Trustee
Committee and we would like you to join with us in the formulation of
the principles, priorities and strategies of the committee. At our
last general meeting, there was a lot of interest in trustee issues.
I believe this committee can go a long way toward determining and
addressing the issues of concern for the membership.
Nothing will change or get better in this district without your
participation. Please contact me at brianwirsching@tilemlaw.com if
you would like to be part of the Trustee Committee.
Add me to the committe Brian.

One of the major issues I have dealt with is related to the amount of
administration fees charged to a Ch 7 bk. As I stated at one of our
meetings, I had a client who sought discharge on $37,000 in debt in a Ch7.
She came to me after she had filed for conversion to Ch 13. The admin. fees
for the ch 7 initially submitted by the attorney was in the amount of
$39,000. I was able to obtain a reduction to about $27,000. Still, this
charging was completely over reaching. The billing included charging the
debtor for the time the trustee spent reviewing the billing statements of
the trustee's attorney.
