New Holographic signature requirement as of 12/1/17
Once you purchase adobe, you can:
1. Create the petition in Best Case like we did before with the electronic signature pages. Make a copy to your desktop.
2. Then take your signature pages signed by client and throw them in scanner all at once. Adobe lets you easily separate them on your desktop by hitting the extract button a few times.
3. Open the Petition on your desktop. Go to each signature page and hit replace. Save Petition.
4. Replace it with the one in Best Case. Good to go!

I've routinely filed Petitions, Motions etc that are well over the 2 MB
limit. The largest file has been around 8-9 MB. Yes, the warning comes up
before filing but it always goes through.

Did that as well. Scanned at 100dpi, 150dpi, and 200dpi...no ocr.
The only one under 2MBs was 100dpi, which was fairly illegible. The others came in at 5MBs, 8MBs and even 13MBs. This was the case with old scanner and brand new one.
Twas a fun day.

Hi Shannon,
That may work for some, but I spent hours yesterday attempting to make my single pdf a low enough resolution to be accepted by the court.
I tried through my old scanner, through my new shiny, scanner, as well as through Best Scan. No matter what I did the petition would come out to be either illegible or too big for the courts 2 MBs limit.
In my frustration, I thought it seemed ridiculous they would require this without increasing their own ability to accept a larger document.
But...what do I know. I eventually figured it out. In addition to purchasing a brand new scanner, I purchased Adobe Pro DC for $15/month. Now I can replace the pages easily.
